Charlevoix is a UNESCO biosphere reserve north-east of Quebec City, where the boreal forest runs down to the Saint Lawrence. The Chalets de Môh sit at the foot of the Mont Grand Fond ski area, a short drive from La Malbaie, and range from cabins for four to a lodge that sleeps fourteen.
Every chalet has a fireplace and a barbecue, and most have a private Nordic spa facing the trees. Ski in winter, hike and kayak in summer, and watch for whales on the river at Tadoussac. Several chalets welcome dogs.
From a four-person trapper cabin to a six-bedroom lodge with a lake view, each with a fireplace and most with a Nordic spa. Priced per night, taxes apart.
Charlevoix has two clear seasons: skiing and deep snow from December to March, and green forest, hiking, kayaking and whale watching from June to September.
Charlevoix is about two hours north-east of Quebec City along the Saint Lawrence. The nearest airport is Quebec City.
A Nordic spa at most chalets, a chef on request, ski passes for Mont Grand Fond, and guides for the river and the forest. Pets are welcome at several chalets.
Tell the concierge your dates and the size of your group, and they will match you to the right chalet.
